Extensive Japanese tissue repairs to reverse faint blue pencil marks to right hand margin. An uncommon survival allowing for the removal of persons or goods 'nuisances' on ships "arriving and having any infectious Disease or Distemper on board" including the plague or spasmodic cholera.
