Die meisterlichen anatomischen Darstellungen dieses "trefflichen Studienwerks" wurden von dem bedeutenden Kupferstecher seiner Zeit, Kilian Ponheimer, d. Ä. (1757-1828), der speziell auch wissenschaftliche Werke illustrierte, gestochen. Der in der Anmerkung genannte Joseph Schröfle war k.k. Polizei-, Bezirks- und Primar-Wundarzt im k. k. Provinzial-Strafhaus in der Leopoldstadt.

Il corpus prescelto è costituito dagli antroponimi attestati nei documenti raccolti nel primo volume del Codex diplomaticus Cavensis con particolare riguardo per gli antroponimi longobardi e, più in generale, germanici. L’arco di tempo considerato è compreso tra il 792 e l’899, ultimo documento del IX secolo. Il corpus degli antroponimi del CdC viene utilizzato anche per cercare di verificare se (ed eventualmente come) può rappresentare il riflesso di una stratificazione non solo linguistica, ma anche culturale, controllando la possibile persistenza di tratti conservatori.

This work examines some remarkable points of the Etruscan morphology in the light of the latest acquisitions. Characteristics and differences between nominal and pronominal inflection are thoroughly analysed along with many other grammatical features (personal and relative pronouns, postpositions, conjunctions, adverbs and various particles). Some particular aspects of the complex and scarcely known verbal morphology are considered in the fourth chapter.
