Il parvenait à chaque fois à obtenir une dédicace après avoir rencontré l’artiste en personne ( souvent au bout de longues années d'attente ), il se refusait de solliciter par courrier l’envoi d’une photo ou d'un livre signé, évitant ainsi d'avoir des doutes quant à l’authenticité de la signature ou dédicace, car de nombreuses vedettes utilisaient un secrétaire pour répondre à leurs fans.
