This volume with its ample 18th-century inscriptions and some scattered annotations above printed marginalia gives the book a valued sense. Good solid book within the tradition of 17th-century medicine coming out of Italy during the waning of the Renaissance Polverinos ideas were contemporary to Galileo and Descartes.
