Garrison & Morton No. 2334.It is well known that the ordinary cultures of the bacillus of Koch can not be used for agglutination. Arloing however in 1898 obtained a fluid homogeneous culture of the tubercle bacillus and demonstrated its specific agglutinability by the serum of tuberculous human beings or animals thus rendering possible the serum diagnosis of tuberculosis.
