1833WRCLIT17653Boston 1833. Original cloth neatly rebacked original spine label preserved. Tiny flaw in free endsheet otherwise a very nice copy. A curious anthology without publisher's imprint or copyright notice. The contents are comprised of literary sketches as well as a goodly number of ghost stories and well known tales such as "The Man with the Iron Mask" "The Grey Ghost of the Maelstrom" "Nautical Ghost Story" etc. The whole concludes with a few temperance and anti- snuff anecdotes.
