We see the location of the great electric power transmission line that will deliver power from Boulder Dam to five pumping plants along the Aqueduct. The power will raise Aqueduct water over mountain barriers. Water from the Colorado River - a billion gallons a day - will be delivered to the cities in the Metropolitan Water District - and the cities which may later enter the District. How the Aqueduct will deliver this unfailing and abundant water supply to all parts of the Metropolitan Water District is graphically revealed on the map.
