This is a Very Good Plus copy of Kinsey's first study of human sexuality the Fifth Printing of the First Edition from February 1948 originally published one month earlier it immediately went into multiple printings. Kinsey's other authors listed on TP were Wardell B. Pomeroy and Clyde E. Martin. A large heavy octavo 2.5 pounds; red cloth binding with spine labeling in black and gilt. Clean text; 804 pages indexed; with bibliography and appendices. There is hardly any wear to this copy but the rear hinge has cracked although holding well; otherwise this would be close to a Fine copy. Lacking the dustjacket. . Later Printing. Hard Cover.
