Ces dernières ont été consignées dans la plupart des recueils du fameux médecin grec, principalement dans les Pronostics, les Prorrhétiques, les Prénotions coaques et les Aphorismes. Jean-Franc?ois Aubry (1743-1799) affirme ici la justesse des pratiques de la médecine grecque ancienne et applique la doctrine d'Hippocrate aux maladies modernes, inconnues dans l'Antiquité. Ex-libris armorié (timbre humide, apposé sur le revers de la page de titre) : "Ex Lib. Henr. Petit Equitis & Doct, Med, Suessionaei".
