Sharma (Born: 1957) did his M.A. and Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of North Bengal, Darjeeling, West Bengal. He is an Education Officer in the Central Board for Workers Education, under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of Indian at Siliguri. His area of specialisation is Industrial Sociology, Tea Plantation Workers of East North-East India, Himalayan Society of Eastern Himalayas and North Eastern Himalayas and Labour Education. Das (Born: 1950) did his M.A. in Economics from the University Guwahati (Assam).
