Gazi II Giray, Ghazi Bora Khan Girai (1551-1607) was a khan of the Crimean Tartars between 1588 and 1596, and then again from 1597 until 1607. He was known as "Bora", or "Storm" and was responsible for an increase in the power and significance of the khanate. He was a supporter of science and culture. While he was buried in the khans' cemetery at Bakhchisaray Palace his grave was not preserved. First Edition.
