Timothy Abbott Conrad 1803-1877 was an American Geologist who also studied paleontology especially shells of the Tertiary and Cretaceous formations. Although from New Jersey he was one of the New York State geologists and traveled throughout the Southeast. Although the focus of this book is on his work in Alabama four text sketch maps show his travels through North Carolina South Carolina and Georgia.
