Dated using Jisc from copies held at the British Library. Written by Cyril Arthur Edward Ranger Gull under the pseudonym Guy Thorne. Gull was a prominent English journalist and novelist best known for his Christian novel 'When It Was Dark'.'And It Came To Pass' has similar religious themes to 'When It Was Dark' containing ideas of miracles religious figures and exploring the influence of religion on society. Loosely inserted is the original publisher's advertisement for this book with a brightly coloured image and a description of the work with a page of 'New and Important Books' from the publisher.Previous owner's ink inscription of Wilfred Granville.
