Édition illustrée d'un beau portrait en frontispice de Buffon par Emile Giroux et de 38 planches représentant 150 espèces d'oiseaux dessinées par Victor ADAM. Exemplaire aux coloris frais. Each issue contains 8 or 9 gorgeous full color plates; also retained here are the full color covers of Vol. I Nos. 1 and 2 unknown whether succeeding issues continued with color covers thus approx. 150 plates total all essentially as issued some with small library stamp on verso only.
