Small octavo pp 7 5 248 top edge gilt other edges untrimmed some pages slightly dusty internally but generally in very good condition bound in a late nineteenth century quarter morocco and pebbled cloth gilt decorated spine with raised bands. An excellent copy. The Oates-Selborne copy with the bookplate of Robert Washington Oates; the library was later gifted to the Gilbert White Museum in 1955. Rev. James Grahame 1765 - 1811 was a Scottish poet whose poems are full of quiet observation of country sights expressed in graceful verse.
