Accompanying is a letter from the manager of the trade department of MacMillan to a bookshop in Dallas Texas. The top of the letter the fep & the inside front cover are rust stained from an old staple since removed. The book contains 16 plates on 8 pages with the balance blank paper. The dummy was intended to help obtain advance orders of the book. The letter is dated 10 Aug '37 3 months before publication date. There is very slight soiling to the top of the front cover and a 1 1/2x3" area of silverfish damage to the top outer corner of the back cover. Otherwise the book is extremely tight.
