Copy belonging to script supervisor Franca Invernizzi with her extensive holograph annotations on nearly every page and many page versos regarding camera shots takes timing and dialogue. Bound in after the script is an annotated list of scenes and several handwritten pages of Invernizzi's notes. Text in Italian.<br/><br/>In 1920s Sicily a capitalist and a socialist vie for the affections of a grief-stricken woman whose husband was killed by a fascist mafioso. The follow-up to director Lina Wertmuller's Oscar-nominated 1976 film "Seven Beauties" and a lyrical formidable film in its own right. <br/><br/>Set and shot on location in Sicily. <br/><br/>Script:<br/><br/>Black faux-leather untitled wrappers. The brochure outlines the benefits of the climate the resources and agriculture in the region ease of transport and access and other features: "People from all sections of the country who desire to better their condition are cordially invited to come to Arkansas and secure cheap homes. All classes of citizens without regard to political opinions join to build up the material interests of the state and develop its extraordinary resources. The colored people constitute only one-fourth of the population." The usual "Bound for the Happy Lands" circular woodcut of the railroad adorns two panels and a small map highlights the Texas Short Line from St. Louis to Texarkana. With the ink stamp of Henry H. Advertisement issued by the Berlin Iron Bridge Company depicting their "Patent" municipal signboards including information on production materials and a price guide. Text includes extracts from pertinent New England and mid-Atlantic state laws regarding guide boards. Presumably issued sometime after 1888 the laws in Vermont having been approved November 2nd of that year. As of today many of bridges built by the Company can be found on the National Register of Historic Places. One copy catalogued in OCLC as of November 2016 at the Connecticut Historical Society. Image measures 8.75" x 12".<br/><br/> This charming map of Dunkirk shows the city as it sits on the coast of the southernmost part of the North Sea here labeled as the Sea of Flanders. Working circa 1705 De Fer has represented the city with a schematized drawing of its exterior walls. Canals connecting the city to nearby towns and churches are also depicted and labeled. Sand bars are drawn and mountains are represented pictorically and a decorative compass rose at the upper left points due north. The map is in very good condition with no chips or tears and minor staining. Nicolas de Fer 1646-1720 was a French cartographer engraver and publisher. He became official geographer to the French Dauphin 1691 and to the Spanish King 1702 and was renowned particularly for his maps of the French coast of which this is a fine example.<br/><br/> unknown books
