1838018734London: John Reynolds 1838. Hardcover. Good/No Jacket as published. 4" x 6.5. 208 pages. A wonderful book detailing various species of fauna in over 100 engravings / wood cuts. Not dated but there is the neat name of a previous owner on the front free end paper and this is dated 1838 which appears to be contemporary making this a very early edition. The front hinge is weak end paper split but the linen is holding and there are a few spots throughout the book but all in all a pleasing copy from the first half of the 19th century.
