Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. 149 pages with 67 b&w illustrations. This is 2nd volume in a series of works on Egyptian religious texts. Contents includes Amon-Re, god of Thebes, Theology of Aton, Maat, Goddess of truth, Funerary ceremonies, Mummification, The viscera, The heart, Nut, the coffin, The book of the dead, The watery abyss, Nun, Book of the divine cow. Contains the first translation of the hieroglyphic text inscribed on the four shrines that enclosed the tomb of King Tut, including rituals and devotional inscriptions and fragments of sacred books.
