This part, being issues 93-96 of the series, contains the Pupillidae and in particular the notoriously diverse and conchologically difficult genus Gastrocopta and related genera including Hypselostoma and Abida (Gastrocoptinae). The plates depict mainly fish and snails but also some mammals (including the endemic Hutia) and insects (Lepidoptera and Hymenoptera), all in volume 1. Volume 2 has more taxonomically important and well-illustrated papers on Mollusca and fishes. A smudge and fold to the front wrapper of volume I, otherwise a very good clean set. This is the 1975 Junk facsimile of this classic book, not a low quality recent print on demand book.
