Laid in are an original obituary from March 2 1929 from the Hannoversdten Tageblattes; a booklet written to the memory of Bode on the anniversary of his 90th year 1935 by Friedrich Wintler German art expert/author; and an excerpt from "Berlin" by Walter Kisulehn which mentions Bode typed out for separately in 1969 for the owner of all these items William Suhr conservator at the Frick Collection. All texts in German. The obituary and memorial booklet are in Old German script but the books and typed sheets are in contemporary script. The autobiography of German art historian and curator Wilhelm von Bode. He was creator and first curator of the Kaiser Friedrich Museum in Berlin which was renamed the Bode Museum in honor of Bode. She was instrumental in founding the St. James Infirmary a medical and social service organization serving sex workers in San Francisco.
