Spines a bit dry wear at edges often heavy with loss of leather at corners edges dyed red with some some leak into margins in a few spots scattered foxing and toning to pages including to plates though largely in the margins a few minor paper flaws creases small tears at corners endpapers lacking on vol II a few hinges and joints are tender; mostly quite clean and still generally very sound and attractive overall. Spine labels with both the number in the Histoire Naturelle and the Histoire Naturelle des Oiseaux.<br/><br/> Size: Quarto 4to. 9-volume set complete. Text is clean and unmarked.
