A well produced serious work on these amazing "Photographer Mark Newman and naturalist/writer Domico went to Australia to "discover" kangaroos and have produced an abundantly illustrated and information-filled account. The author introduces a brief annotated bibliography with the comment that "outside of a few children's books, there is very little material on this subject readily available to the general reader." A quick search of the CD-ROM Books in Print PLUS confirms his statement; of 23 titles displayed with a search on "kangaroo(s)," 20 are juveniles.
