Hardcover, very good condition. Beautifully bound in full red Morocco by German binder Zaehnsdorf. Exquisite gilt tooling on the inner edges of the boards with silk pastedowns and end papers. Raised bands and gilt lettering to the spine. There is some minor wear to the corners and spine ends with a rubbed patch to front of the spine head and edges. Some minor marks to the rear board and slightly sunned spine. Internally there is some foxing to the first few front and rear pages but none to the text and some leaching of the red from the silk FEP to the reverse page. Previous owner's bookplate on the front pastedown (evidently a stag hunter from the design!). Includes a fold out map of Exmoor. The text is bright and clear throughout. DP Used
