Il secondo tomo è un manuale per i medici di bestiame: Cognizioni sulla struttura degli animali, Medicamenti, Malattie, Infiammazioni, Malattie esterne e interne, Cenno di giurisprudenza veterinaria, ispezioni cadaveriche, regole di sanità ecc... Note manoscritte. In discrete condizioni Copertina in mezza pelle con titolo e decorazioni in oro al dorso in buone condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. Dorso mancante al tomo primo. Legatura in buone condizioni. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con fioriture. Segni di tarlo marginali talvolta con perdita di testo. Occhietto del primo tomo mancante. Interesting manual of Veterinarian medicine of 1824 written by Giulio Sandri. The work is made up of two volumes and it is complete. The first volume is dedicated to owners to cattle: Guide of cattle owner with suggestions about choice and care of horse, preservation and improvoment of breeds (bull, sheep, goat), wool, pig, birds, dog and cat. At the end there are two folded planches showing anatomy of horse and bull. The second tome is a manual for veterinarian physicians: Information about structure of animals, Medicines, deseases, Flammations, External and internal deseases, Veterinarian law, dead bodies inspections, health rules etc... In fair conditions. Half leather cover with golden title and decorations in the spine in good general conditions slightly worn in the edges and spine. Missing spine in the first tome. Binding in good conditions. Inside pages are in good conditions with foxings. Wormings sometimes with loss of text.

Oliver Goldsmith (1728-1774) was an Irish novelist, playwright and poet, who is best known for his novel 'The Vicar of Wakefield' (1766), his pastoral poem 'The Deserted Village' (1770), and his plays 'The Good-Natur'd Man' (1768) and 'She Stoops to Conquer' (1771). He is thought to have also written the classic children's tale 'The History of Little Goody Two-Shoes' (1765). First published in 1774 'A History of the Earth and Animated Nature' was also extremely popular. This Philadelphia 1845 edition is scarce and complete examples are rarely offered for sale. PAIMP20
