Hardcover with unclipped dust jacket. This is one of an extensive collection of hundreds of VERY GOOD, DUSTJACKETED titles from the Scientific Book Club series. In many cases the artwork has outlived the science, but these were collected by a prominent scientific author and journalist. This particular copy has a sunned jacket spine and worn jacket edges with a few small tears and larger tear to spine foot. Yellow cloth boards are sunned at spine and bumped at spine ends and corners. Page block is foxed and minor creases near upper edges of a few pages. Spine is tight and pages are clean throughout.
