18672250003New York: Sheldon and Company 1867. Hardcover. Fair. 16mo - over 5¾ - 6¾" tall. See photos for condition details: Red blind stamped cloth boards with gilt to spine. Exterior is spotted and soiled along with edge and corner bumps/wear. The top of spine is chipped and the lower spine has cracking on both the face and both hinges the rear hinge being about 50%. The internal binding overall good but there is a missing front end page. There are no hinge cracks at the boards but the title page is detached at the very bottom about 2 inches worth. The pages still securely attached but the tear is seen in one of the photos. On page 169 there is another tear this one goes from the bottom left towards the son of the page about 2.5 inches in length. There is also the original owners info lightly penciled on the back of the first end page. The rear to end pages also contain handwriting in pencil mostly name and personal info with the last end page containing additional handwriting. No handwriting was found on any of the text pages.
