Letterpress printed in black lettering with red ornament surrounded by ruled border with decorative corners headed with a hand-painted Merton College crest. A fine decorative Broadside- these Rules of the Library were translated from the Latin register of the Merton College Oxford University. Every member of the college was required to take an oath on admission that he would obey these rules- here reprinted by the Woolly Whale Press New York 1939. The four rules as follows: I.
