The author is a professor emeritus at Southern Methodist University. He is a prolific writer about Dallas history. the book is in near fine condition with only a very slight bump at the top of the spine. The jacket is also in near fine condition. The book is inscribed to the late Phyllis Glazer which is a significant association because she was a former Dallas resident who moved to a ranch near Mineola and became the Erin Brockovich of East Texas when she took on Gibraltar Chemical Resources for polluting the ground water and making everybody sick and then lying about it.
