Mar. 4 1967 with a picture of Dr. Hecht and is titled "50 Years A Doctor; Receives Citation". The inscription recipient is possibly that of Dr. Sidney Milton Edelstein who was the founder of the Dexter Chemical Corporation in the Bronx New York City. Per a biography of Dr. Edelstein by Prof. Zvi C. Koren he was "a research chemist inventor industrialist historian and bibliophile." The common interests professions New York residence and Dr. Edelstein's achievements and passion for books may indicate this could have been the reason for the laid in paper slip inviting "will welcome comment." Bound in light blue publisher's cloth with silver foil lettering on the cover and spine. Frontispiece is a black and white portrait of Dr. Hecht. 250 pp. Light blue dust jacket with black lettering on the cover and spine. <br><br>CONDITION: Both book and DJ are VG with light wear. Book's hinges are strong and binding is sound. Unmarked except for the author's inscription on the front flyleaf. Dust jacket shows some soiling and wear but is NOT price clipped.
