Re-release of a Darwin book which was first published in 1872 as one of the first books to contain photographic plates. This is #14 of 1000 copies of an "Authoriized Edition" that appears to have come out circa 1910. Darwin's signature appears on the opening flyleaf; but alas! The man left us in 1882.
