A complete set of the Count of Lacépède's historical survey of Europe from the last years of the fifth century up to the early years of the eighteenth century. A first edition published in French. Bernard-Germain-Étienne de La Ville-sur-Illon's dedicated the latter part of his life to this work and the eighteen volume work documenting the general physical and civil history of Europe was published posthumously in 1826.
