It once belonged to the huge private library of Dr. Lipke Blijdeley Holthuis (1921-2008). Holthuis was one of the foremost prominent carcinologists of his time and his library was the largest and best one in private hands. His library is now in Naturalis (National Natural History Museum of Leiden, the Netherlands). His books remain complete there, only a few periodicals were not included; this is one of them.
