A well-preserved copy of this most charming vintage Canadian cook book, first published in 1913. 142 pages. Several colour photos. All coupons present. "A manual of good recipes carefully chosen from the contributions of over two thousand successful users of Five Roses Flour throughout Canada. Also contains useful notes on the various classes of good things to eat, all of which have been carefully checked and re-checked by competent authority" - from title page. Moderate wear and soiling for a cookbook of this era. Hand-written recipes on last two pages. Last leaf (pages 143-144) missing, presumably to remove additional handwritten recipes. Binding intact.
