An interesting book dealing with Mexico city and surrounding area with much on the history of the area and important buildings parks palaces etc. In the Preface Deverdun writes that his aim is not to provide either a history or a guidebook but rather to tell readers "something about the many places of outstanding interest in this most beautiful country.
