Splendida xilografia originale acquarellata a mano tratta dalla nota opera di botanica "Histoire generale des plantes" del botanico medico e naturalista francese Jacques Dalechamps (1513-1588) in elegante passe-partout. Si nota chiaramente l'influenza del Matthioli come anche in numerose opere di botanica pubblicate dopo gli importanti "Discorsi" del noto botanico italiano.INCISIONE: xilografia originale AUTORE: Jacques Dalechamps DIMENSIONI PASSEPARTOUT: cm 25x17, DIMENSIONI INCISIONE: cm 13,5x6,5 COLORE: acquarellato a mano EPOCA: 1630 circa CONDIZIONI: buone condizioni Dalechamps nella sua "Historia generalis plantarum" pubblicata per la prima volta nel 1586-87 raccolse tutta la conoscenza botanica disponibile sino a quella data. La prima edizione francese venne pubblicata nel 1615. Superb original woodcut painted in acquerello by hand taken from the famous work "Histoire generale des plantes" by the botanical physician Jacques Dalechamps (1513-1588) in an elegant passe-partout.
