In-4° (cm22x29) legatura piena pergamena rigida novecentesca. Pp 6 non numerate, 81, 1 non numerata, vignetta incisa raffigurante l'Anfiteatro Flavio al frontespizio, 6 tavole più volte ripiegate. Bella dedica autografa dell'Autore alla terza pagina non numerata. Buon esemplare in barbe. Sebastiani (1782 - 1821), medico e professore di botanica all'Università di Roma, fu nominato direttore dell'Orto Botanico del Gianicolo di Roma da Pio VII nel 1818. Con il suo allievo Ernesto Mauri compilò quest'opera quasi interamente dedicata allo studio della flora spontanea del Colosseo. Trattasi infatti del secondo volume (fasciculus alter) che completa le classi botaniche censite nel primo volume (fasciculus primus) uscito due anni prima prima di dedicarsi per l'appunto al censimento della flora dell'anfiteatro Flavio.

Upon the publication of this book numerous talk shows hosted discussions and forums about Sybil and multiple personality disorders and this was obviously among the first shows to do this given the date of the presentation. The book was made into a television movie in 1976 for which actor Sally Field won an Emmy for her portrayal of Sybil. Schreiber died in 1988. First edition copies of Sybil signed by the author are scarce.
