Lark Rise: 1944 fourth impression no inscriptions the original dust jacket is unclipped minor wear and ageing. 2. Over to Candleford: first printing 1941 ex library book library bound with leather spine and gilt lettering rubbed at the spine ends no dust jacket. 3. Candleford Green: fourth impression 1944 fine with no inscriptions no dust jacket. All three books are protected by clear removable covers. A harlequin but scarce set. Loosely inserted is a copy of a three-page typewritten document giving some insight into the author's life and times anonymous but written in a familiar style indicating that the writer probably new Flora Thompson. Bibliographic note: these three books were subsequently published as a single volume in 1945 by Oxford University Press entitled "Lark Rise to Candleford" with wood engravings by Julie Neild.
