New white wrappers have been added to the monograph with the original printed wrapper mounted on the front white wrapper. The original rear wrapper is not present. The text on the front wrapper is complete though the margins have been chipped away. The title page is tanned and chipped along the bottom border and top corner. The final plate has some marginal chipping along outer edge and at one outer corner the rear blank side of the plate is browned and soiled. Overall a good solid copy that has been expertly restored. The new black cloth box is new. Pp. 53 10 full-page engraved plates 9 are partially colored. Publisher's printed pale green front wrapper mounted on later white wrappers in custom-made folding black cloth box gilt-lettered on the spine folio. Presents the fossil crustaceans of the Cretaceous of Bohemia now known as the Czech Republic. A rare work on the evolution of lobsters and crabs.
