Im Hintergrund sind fein gezeichnete medizinisch-instrumentelle Gestelle erkennbar die auf klinische oder geburtshilfliche Tätigkeit verweisen und dem Porträt eine fachliche Ikonographie verleihen. Die Kombination aus großzügig drapiertem Mantel ruhiger Gesichtshaltung und den Apparaturen schafft ein Bild des modernen technisch versierten Arztes während die polnische Inschrift und die Widmung an Brzozowska die soziale Einbettung in das gebildete städtische Milieu Galiziens erkennen lassen. Die Rezeption Großmanns scheint vor allem in der persönlichen Erinnerungssphäre seiner Patientinnen und im lokalen medizinischen Umfeld verankert gewesen zu sein; überregionale medizinhistorische Werke nennen ihn bisher nicht. Das Porträt stellt daher ein seltenes bildliches Zeugnis der bürgerlichen Arzt- und Geburtshelferikonographie im polnisch-galizischen Raum der ersten Hälfte des 19. Memoria legale di una causa che inizia: "Alcuni della famiglia Pisani, utili possessori del feudo di Pascarola, istituirono un monte di maritaggi per figliuole povere di quel feudo". Con la vendita del feudo, nel 1738, il monte passò ai Palomba, che nel 1777 avanzarono la causa quando "con sentenza del S.R.C. fu all'università di Pascarola restituito a tenor di fondazione".

La memoria legale inizia: "Si contende la successione di d..Giulio Cesare Carosi di Taranta tra la compagnia di Gesù ed i PP.della Missione". Il problema nasceva perchè il Carosi aveva redatto 2 testamenti olografi: nel 1° (7 nov.1825) veniva istituita erede la Compagnia di Gesù, nel 2° (24 ago.1833) risultava erede la "Congregazione de'Vergini sistante in Napoli nella strada che esce dal pontone Maddaloni e tira dritto per la strada a mano sinistra", ma in quel luogo non sorgeva la casa dei PP. della Missione, ma la Compagnia del Gesù. Da qui la causa.

Si tratta della memoria legale di una causa per gravi danni alla strada ferrata di Napoli, dei quali erano stati accusati Andrea de Domenico, Michele de Gennaro e Antonio Ferraraa, che, il 15 maggio 1848, avrebbero divelto i binari ferroviari, a Santa Maria, alle porte di Napoli, per costruire barricate, mentre in città era scoppiata l'insurrezione contro il re.

Memoria legale di una causa per la vendita di grani: "Conviene adunque sapersi che possedendo esso duca delle masserie non piccole ne' suoi feudi di Vulcano e S.Pietro in Bagno, siti in Puglia, le quali altro frutto non producono se non grani duri, chiamati saragolle fini ... Insinuatosi nell'amicizia dell'anzidetto qu.Giuseppe, lo persuase di comprarsi buona parte di tali grani, al prezzo stabilito della voce di Foggia e di anticipargli... carlini 10 per ogni tomolo..."(p.1). Ma il problema nacque sulla valutazione dei tomoli, se col "tomolo" di Foggia o di Napoli, dato che i grani giungevano nel "caricatojo" di Manfredona (p.10).

Pulini e Battagli fu promosso penale procedimento avanti al Tribunale di Arezzo... per aver il Battagli in una sua lettera.. nel giornale il Boiardo che si stampa in Firenze affermato di aver preso a schiaffi e pugni il 18 dic.1891 in Montevarchi il Pulini, allo scopo di esporlo al ridicolo... e per aver il Pulini in un foglietto a stampa edito a Montevarchi nel successivo 25 dic. intitolato una bugiarda rettifica affermando... che il Battagli era stato da lui schiaffeggiato... La sentenza pose fine alla privativa giudiziale... Nella sera del 18 dic.1891 erano insieme ad altri Accedemici riuniti Battagli e Pulini nella sal del Teatro Varchi..." e prosegue fino al ricorso in Appello.

Mazzara aveva acquistato una casa all'Aquila, gravata da canone enfiteutico e era "obbligato a soddisfare alla Congr. del Terzo Ordine di s.Francesco in detta città, un'annualità di lire 19,12 per un censo bollare". La legge 24 gen.1864 aveva affrancato i canoni enfiteutici, i livelli e i censi e quindi anche questo.
