The covers are lightly bumped and the spine is somewhat faded. 160 pages with a decorated title page printed in red & black. Very good.</p><p>First edition. A title in the "Famous Scots Series".</p><p>Inscribed and signed by the author Hector MacPherson to the radical English politician Leonard Courtney 1832-1918 and his wife Catherine on the front endpaper.
