95333n.p. n.d. 19--. Paperback. Very Good. photos 20p. Softcover in original wrapper. 23 cm. Lower corner somewhat bent. Final interior page indicates that Prince Larnardo and his Royal African Singers were available to be booked for concerts at 200 East Milwaukee St. in Janesville Wisconsin and implies that this group had done a "A benefit for Prentiss Normal and Indistrial School Prentiss Mississippi." Prince Larnardo writes about Bastuoland on pages 14 and 15 where he says that Klad-ty-ku the Prince's father was King of the Basuda Tribe ruling over 23 villages. He describes a wedding said to represent the customs of the Nyida Tribe which included the prospective groom drinking Pombe which made by boiling the inner bark of a tree called Ymbem and mixing that with several other ingredients from the jungle. It seems to have caused the prospective grtoom to walk around in a trance for ten or more days and speak in a high falsetto voice. It seems possible to us that some of this was not entirely accurate. paperback
