Contains solutions to problems as to feeding of soldiers in fortifications computing of various volumes of wine and ale measurements of land and distance and travel times. Covers show light moisture stain joints starting to crack but binding tight. Remarkably in a handmade dust jacket of rather crude brown paper with series of numbers and the same handwritten statement "Bowen Adams Manuscript 1815" on cover.
