Trimmed a bit close affecting an occasional catchword. Very good. The first printing of this work which was also issued a few years later as part of some copies of A COLLECTION OF RELIGIOUS TRACTS Philadelphia: Joseph Cruikshank 1773. Armelle Nicolas was a 17th century French servant girl whose life of piety and good works developed a cult following. Lady Elizabeth Hastings 1682-1739 was also well known for her good works and charity in England. This book was issued by John Dunlap best known for the first broadside printing of the Declaration of Independence.
