Rare édition bilingue latin-français imprimée à Châlons-sur-Saône de ce poème pédagogique de lhumaniste Nicolas Mercier. La traduction française est due à lécrivain nancéen Jean Baptiste Salmon qui fut le fondateur dans sa ville natale dune maison déducation militaire pour les jeunes nobles. Le texte rimé français et latin en vis-à-vis "prescrit aux jeunes gens les murs la vertu et la religion". Rousseurs éparses. Sinon exemplaire très bien conservé.
