In 1974 Love began to pursue a career as a free lance writer editor and photographer. For the past two years he has engaged in research and interviews for a history of the 1953 coup in Iran. Love's major published work is the ' Suez: The Twice Fought War. He has produced many articles reviews broadcasts and taken photographs which have appeared nationally and internationally.
