Dust jacket has lots of edge wear, chipping, open tear at top spine, general scuffing. 195 pages, heavily illustrated with b&w photos, a book of news from the town paper of Prosser, Washington and its people throughout the war. The paper reported on scrap drives, rationing, volunteer work, bond drives, a population boom, labor shortage, victory gardens, etc. The newspaper also carried news of Prosser servicemen who were stationed all overseas.
