The use of herbal medicinal products and supplements has increased tremendously over the past three decades with not less than 80% of people worldwide relying on them for some part of primary healthcare. It has become essential, therefore, to furnish the general public including healthcare professionals with adequate information to facilitate better understanding of the risks associated with the use of these products and to ensure that all medicines are safe and of suitable quality. As an author, it is my heartiest believe that the book will adjoin significant apprehension to future research pharmacists and alternative medical practitioners as most of the text portion is created from the recently published books, newsletters and articles of different journals.
