She also appeared at the Grand Ole Opry for over 50 years from 1940 to 1991.<br/><br/>Pearl's comedy was a light-hearted satire of rural Southern "hillbilly" culture and always appeared in frilly dresses wearing a hat with the $1.98 price tag hanging from it. She greeting her audience with her signature "How-w-wDEE-EEE! I'm jest so proud to be here!" which quickly became a call-and-response with audiences everywhere.<br/><br/>7.25 x 9 inches.
