The introduction acknowledges the British origins of many American dishes but encourages English women to engage the recipes as well as Americans have placed their own unique spins on them. It's interesting to see American dishes typeset in the style of English cookbooks. Generally very good in slightly edge worn printed gray boards with the front and rear panels of the dust jacket present otherwise perished.
